About Me
I made the career shift to health coaching after 30+ years in the corporate world. It was my own health journey through perimenopause and menopause that shone a light on what I did not know about “the change”; beyond the symptoms and more about the long-term risks.
At 57, everything shifted at a retreat where I finally heard the science behind what was happening. The connection between hormones, sleep, and brain function finally made sense. I learned that sleep disruption plays a role in hormonal imbalance and a key player in mid-life weight gain. If I didn’t protect my sleep, I couldn’t protect my brain. If I couldn’t protect my brain, I could not lead at home and work.
This awareness put me back in the leadership role of my health. I approached this life phase as a high-stakes program and became the CEO of my own health.
I partnered with a functional medicine practitioner who treats the body as a system. Using comprehensive data, we co-created a plan to prioritize my sleep, energy, and resilience. This was a system reset. One that returned me to a life of clarity and the opportunity to be an example to others facing midlife changes.
